The Permanent Forum on Domestic, Family and Gender Violence and the Permanent Forum on Public Health and Access to Justice, both from the School of Magistracy of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ), promoted, on March 29th, the debate on Psychological violence against women, in the hybrid form, when the data from the research Visible and Invisible: The Victimisation of Women in Brazil – 4th Edition, by the Brazilian Public Security Forum, showing that 21.5 million women in Brazil suffer violence by their intimate partner or former partner, with psychological violence coming in first place, representing 32.6% of all violence suffered.
