On February 9th , the Patrícia Galvão Institute promoted the webinar Expectations and proposals for the advancement of public policies to combat domestic violence against women, with the participation of Leila Linhares Barsted, member of the Maria da Penha Law Consortium.
The event focused on reflecting on the State’s support to women victims of domestic violence, based on data from the opinion survey Support Networks and Institutional Outlets for Women in Situations of Domestic Violence in Brazil, conducted by the Patrícia Galvão Institute, in partnership with Ipec and support from the Beja Institute.
