On December 13th, was held an online  Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP) Transnational Partners Convening.

The meeting focused on climate justice and the situation of women in Iran. Mary Robson, former Prime Minister of Ireland and a reference in debates on climate change, attended the meeting and brought an international perspective on advances and challenges in the field of climate change, emphasizing the central role of women in this agenda. Ladan Boroumand, Co-founder of the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center shared the process of women’s mobilization in Iran since the 2000s and the role of social media. Sima Samar, former Minister of Women’s Affairs  in Afghanistan also participated in the meeting sharing about the situation of women in Afghanistant.

In addition to the three guests, representatives of partner organizations from the network in Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Nigeria, Mozambique, Morocco, Senegal, among others, were present. CEPIA was represented by Andrea Romani and Jacqueline Pitanguy.
