The Law School of the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS, in Rio Grande do Sul, under its PhD Course, promoted a series of classes on Metamorphosis of Law and Current Criticism, aimed at students and teachers, organized by Professor José Rodrigo Rodriquez, to discuss juridical problems in contemporary society with the aim of stimulating reflection on the Federal Constitution of 1988 and on the law currently in existence.

Leila Linhares Barsted, from CEPIA/EMERJ, Fabiana Severi, from USP/Ribeirão Preto, and Sylvia Aparecida de Oliveira, from Geledés gave a lecture on Non-Discrimination by Race and Gender on November 8th, as part of this course, highlighting the need for the perspective of intersectionality in the analysis of law and the interpretation of the Constitutional text.
