CEPIA celebrates the victory of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, a victory of democracy over authoritarianism, of the prevalence of respect for human rights, of the secular state and of commitments to social justice and the environment.

Women in their diversity were particularly affected by the extreme right-wing government that has ruled the country for 4 years and whose agenda of morals and customs has denied them fundamental rights in the field of health and reproductive autonomy, the fight against violence and in all dimensions  of your family and social life.

With hope, we join the more than 60 million Brazilians who voted for democracy, for respect for the citizens’ achievements of our Constitution, for a nation without hatred, for families without weapons, for the republican debate of ideas, for respect for the contradictory and cultural, racial, ethnic, gender diversity of our society.
