The Impulsor Core of the organizations Criola, Coletivo Feminista of Self-Care and Care among Women’s Human Rights Defenders, Committee for the Defense of the Rights of Quilombola Peoples of Santa Rita and Itapecuru Mirim, Xingu Forever Alive Movement, Collective Círculo Palmarino and Institute Zé Claudio and Maria – IZM), under the project Connecting Women, Defending Rights, conducted by UN Women, held on August 29th, the event Regional Dialogues between Women Human Rights Defenders – Southeast Region with the objective of gathering different organizations and women human rights defenders to establish connections, identify the main threats and attacks to the freedoms of expression, association and political participation, and share the strategies exercised by women human rights defenders in their region. Leila Linhares Barsted participated in this important moment of feminist articulation.
