August 26th, Module III of the 37th Official Course of Initial Training of Magistrates.
Leila Linhares Barsted and Jacqueline Pitanguy, Executive Coordinators of CEPIA, and Comba Marques Porto, President of the Directive Council of CEPIA, acted as expositors in the Round of Conversation on Violence of Gender, approaching the advances of the rights of the women, the protagonism of the National Council of the Women’s Rights (CNDM) in the constituent process, the struggle for the end of the gender violence against the women among others subjects.
On the occasion, the Documentary “Baton Lobby” was shown, with testimonials from some of the women who took part in this historic process, including the three CEPIA representatives.
