The book Feminismo no Brasil Memórias de Quem fez Acontecer (Feminis in Brazil, Memories of those who made it Happen), by Branca Moreira Alves and Jacqueline Pitanguy, had two launches in August.

On the 15th at an online event as part of the Curta o Gênero Festival and on the 23rd at an in-person event at Livraria Quixote, in Belo Horizonte, where Beth Fleury, one of the interviewees in the book, spoke with Jacqueline. The event had the participation of feminists from Minas Gerais, such as Celina Albano and Dinorah Maria do Carmo, whom,  in the fight against violence against women, inaugurated the slogan Quem Ama Nao Mata (Who loves do not Kill).

The Newspaper Estado de Minas interviewed the authors about the book and their views on the challenges of feminism today.
