The MESECVI – Mechanism to Follow up on the Convention to Prevent, Punish and Eradicate Violence against Women (Convention of Belém do Pará), of the Organization of American States (OAS) held on August, 22nd, the second meeting with several civil society organizations interested in participating in the Fourth Round of Evaluation of this Mechanism, encouraging them to send shadow reports on the topic of access to justice for women victims and survivors of gender violence. Leila Linhares Barsted, member of the MESECVI Experts Committee, participated in this meeting.
