The Regional Council of Nursing – 3. COREM, through its Technical Chamber of Bioethics, held on August, 17th, the seminar The Nursing in the guarantee of human rights in health and prevention of violations: ways of acting.
Leila Linhares Barsted and the Public Defenders Thaisa de Souza and Alessandra Rocha acted as speakers and debated with the nursing professionals the ethical and legal issues explained in international human rights treaties and in the Federal Constitution, as well as the actions of these professionals in the protection of people under their care.
