Construction and Destruction of the Human Rights and Policies for Women in Brazil

This is the title of the Cadernos CEDEC n.133 published by the Research Group on Human Rights Democracy and Memory (GRPD) of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the São Paulo University, USP, organized by Wânia Pasinato and Raissa W. Ventura. This publication includes texts of Jacqueline Pitanguy, Rosiska Darcy de Oliveira, Solange B Jurema, Emilia Fernandes,I riny Lopes, Eleonora Menicucci and Nilma Lino Gomes, who, along 40 years headed the federal organs in charge of public policies for women . The Cadernos also includes a Manifest by these authors, titled Women’s Rights are Daily Conquests and an homage to former Minister Nilcea Freire written by Jacqueline Pitanguy.
