The Working Group on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination (GTG) of the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS), led by the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile, promoted, on August 2nd, the Webinar International Standards and Governments’ Obligations Regarding Gender Violence.
Leila Linhares Barsted, member of the MESECVI Committee of Experts, was invited to deliver the master class of this webinar, which aimed to train the staff of these entities to better act in the defense of women’s human rights and to evaluate the efficiency of governmental actions directed to the prevention and eradication of violence against women.
