After a long period of online activities as a result of the pandemic, CEPIA returned to the Orlando Villas Boas Municipal Public High School to facilitate workshops on Body and Puberty.

On June 27th, the workshops involved 7th grade students and on the 29th, the meetings were aimed at 8th and 9th grade students.

Débora Pinheiro, Gabriel Brandão and Kézia Sampaio facilitated the workshops that, through dynamics and conversations, created an environment of trust for the students to share their doubts and experiences  about this period of life of many physical and emotional changes.

The methodology of the workshops was based on CEPIA’s  publication Manual de Ferramentas Criativas: atividades sobre puberdade (Manual of Creative Tools: activities on puberty).

When asked what they thought of the workshop, one of the students replied “I thought it was very good. I was glad to know that I don’t have to be ashamed of my own body”.
