On May 23, the Municipal Plan to Combat Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents (PMEVSCA) was launched. It is  the first Municipal Plan addresing these types of violence committed against children and adolescents. The event brought together more than 400 people, including representatives of non-governmental organizations, municipal councilors, managers of municipal secretariats, public defenders, among others. In addition to the adult audience, the launch was marked by a very expressive presence of teenagers and young people who, in a creative way have presented their demands and ideas for each of the three strategic axis of the Plan: Prevention, Attention and Defense and Responsibility . In addition to a parody prepared by the youth a letter addressed to the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro Eduardo Paes was reading by them.

Andrea Romani, along with Debora Pinheiro and Kezia Sampaio attended the event and were responsible for the activities  with the youth, along with Fundação Roberto Marinho and the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescent (CMDCA).
