On March 8, a symbolic date for the celebration of women’s rights, it will take place the launch of the book  Feminismo no Brasil: memórias de quem fez acontecer (Feminism in Brazil: memories of those who made it happen), by Branca Moreira Alves and Jacqueline Pitanguy, respectively CEPIA’s Board of Directors member and CEPIA’s Executive Coordinator.
The book brings examples of patriarchy throughout history and narrates through the voices of women activists, remarkable moments of feminism in Brazil.

The launch will be online on the youtube of Bazar do Tempo at 18:30 (Brazil time), March 8th.  Along with the authors of the book the event will also feature the participation of  Benedita da Silva and Maria Betânia Ávila and mediation by Aline Midlej.
