On November 23rd, the Articulation of Brazilian Women, CLADEM, the Justice Forum and other partner organizations held the Seminar Uncovering the Court – The role of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights: the Márcia Barbosa case and other feminicides.
Leila Linhares Barsted participated as a speaker highlighting the importance of international litigation that produces, in addition to sentences and judgments on concrete cases of human rights violations, jurisprudential precedents that can strengthen feminist advocacy on the Brazilian justice system, especially the Federal Supreme Court.
