The National School of Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam) promotes the webinar
“Gender and Women’s Human Rights”, on November 23, from 9:30 am to 12 pm, Brazilian time zone.

This event is part of the initiatives to support women Afghan judges and takes place as part of the Campaign 16 days of activism to end violence against women.

The first panel will have as speakers  Mahnaz Afkhami, founder and president of the Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP), which is part of a group of autonomous women’s rights organizations from the Global South, including CEPIA, and by Jacqueline Pitanguy and will be coordinated by Judge Adriana Mello and mediated by Marcela Lobo, Master’s student at Enfam.

Maria Elizabeth Guimarães Teixeira Rocha, Minister of the Superior Military Court and Amini Haddad, Judge of the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso will be the speakers at the second panel, coordinated by the Enfam’s professor Luiza Figueiredo and mediated by the master’s student at Enfam Bruna Tafarelo.
