In September, CEPIA, in partnership with the WLP (Women’s Learning Partnership) launched another edition of the Training of Trainers Institute (TOT) , having as central themes this year women’s leadership and democratic culture. The training named Dialogues of leadership and democracy between women from Brazil and Portuguese-speaking Africa, which will last for the month of October, is bringing together more than 30 women from different regions and backgrounds, including women from Cape Verde, Angola and Mozambique. In addition to expanding knowledge on issues related to horizontal leadership, digital security and democratic culture, the training also aims to contribute to the construction of solidarity networks and joint action fronts in defense of women’s human rights. In a proposal for continued empowerment and exchange of knowledge, this year the CEPIA’s team had the support of Daniela Lopes in the co coordination of the training. Daniela, actress and member of the Municipal Forum for Women’s Rights in Duque de Caxias, has already acted as a participant and facilitator in previous editions of this Training.
