The National Council of Justice – CNJ promoted on August 10th the XV Journey of Maria da Penha Law, in commemoration of the 15 years of this Law, with the opening by Minister Humberto Martins, President of the Superior Court of Justice – STJ. In this event were discussed issues such as the legislative evolution of Maria da Penha Law, domestic violence from the men’s perspective, the role of the media and the route of violence against women until the feminicide. Leila Linhares Barsted, presented, on behalf of CEPIA and the Maria da Penha Law Consortium, the Project Diagnosis and analysis of the metadata of the National Database of the Judiciary – DATAJUD on Urgent Protective Measures, supported by the Avon Institute and the CNJ.
