The Inter American Dialogue (IAD) held the Sol M. Linowitz Forum which brought together, in three sessions, in June, IAD members from various countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States to discuss issues related to democracy, human rights, security, geopolitics, Covid 19 and its hemispheric effects, among other issues. The Forum was chaired by Laura Chinchilla, former President of Costa Rica and Chair of the IAD and by IAD President Michael Shifter. Jacqueline Pitanguy, a member of the IAD, accompanied the presentations and participated in the debates.
