Covid’s Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry, (CPI), does not have any women among its members. In addition to highlighting the discriminatory and sexist nature of the policy, this absence has negative consequences in the work of the Commission, as the pandemic has affected women and men differently and harmful initiatives by the Ministry of Health have aggravated the reproductive health of women and girls, such as the increase maternal mortality and barriers to access to essencial services, including abortion.
