The Feminist Uprising Against Feminicide (Levante Feminista contra o Feminicídio) launched today the campaign “Don’t even think about killing me – Whoever kills a woman kills mankind!”.
The launch event, a live anchored on the Facebook of the Levante, which was broadcast live by CEPIA, brought together feminists from different countries of Latin America.
One of the main instruments of the Levante is its Manifesto, which has already gathered more than 27 thousand signatures.
We, Brazilian feminist women, black, indigenous, brown, white, quilombola, peripheral, living with disabilities, lesbians, bisexuals, cis and trans, from cities, countryside, water and forests, we, mother women, traditional midwives, precarious, overexploited and unemployed workers, we stood up, in an act of revolt, against feminicide in Brazil and demanded its end...
