The Rio de Janeiro State Magistracy School (EMERJ) promoted on March 11th the webinar “Women with the power to transform” with the participation of judges Adriana Ramos de Mello, president of the Gender, Race and Ethnicity Research Group (NUPEGRE) and the Permanent Forum on Domestic, Family Violence and Gender and Maria Aglaé Tedesco Vilardo, president of the Permanent Forum on Biolaw, Bioethics and Gerontology; from the doctors Ligia Bahia and Margareth Dalcolmo, from the coordinator of the Dançar para Não Dançar project, Thereza Aguilar, and from the social activist Cris dos Prazeres who works in several social projects, among them “ReciclAção”, located in Morro dos Prazeres.
This event brought the voices and experiences of women in the affirmation of their social protagonism and a call for the union of efforts for a better country. Leila Linhares Barsted and Mariana Barsted, from CEPIA, were present at this event.
