The Women’s Learning Partnership for Rights Development and Peace (WLP) celebrates its 20th Anniversary of a joint effort to empowering and promote women’s leadership around the world. This celebration was part of its annual Transnational Partners Convene, held on November 17 and 18, which brought together (virtually) representatives of the various partners organizations. The meeting’s agenda included debates on advocacy and training strategies being adopted by partner organizations in the context of Covid-19 aiming to exchanging experiences, lessons learned and also planning for 2021. CEPIA was represented by Andrea Romani, who moderated a session on online training and curriculum development and by Jacqueline Pitanguy, who presented an overview of the impacts of Covid-19 for women today and tomorrow.
