On September 22nd, CEPIA’s team participated in the Webnário “The Courts of Domestic Violence of the Maria da Penha Law”, promoted by the Consortium Lei Maria da Penha.
The 5th Meeting of the Webnário “Dialogues on the Maria da Penha Law” debated with instances of the justice system to assess the effectiveness of the current practice of the Courts, for access to justice for women in situations of violence and answer the question “Where is the hybrid competence of domestic violence courts against women?” after 14 years of Maria da Penha Law.
