On August 18th, CEPIA held the third meeting of the Project Sharing knowledge and strengthening dialogues in Covid-19 times, a partnership with PSE Carioca (Health on School Program) / Municipal Secretariat of Education. At this meeting, which focused on the impacts of Covid-19 in the territories where the PSE professionals work, the guest was Jacqueline Pitanguy (CEPIA) who brought reflections on the cultural construction of the concept of violence, crime and punishment and the important role of the school in the prevention, identification and reporting of violence perpetrated against adolescents. At the same meeting, the impacts of isolation felt by the participants were also shared by them, including challenges in creating bonds with students in a digital space, increasing cases of violence, weakening mental health among adolescents.
