CEPIA, in partnership with the Municipal Education Secretariat of Rio de Janeiro, through the Health at School Program (SME / PSE), started the online modules of the Project Sharing knowledge and strengthening dialogues in Covid-19 times.

The project aimed at male and female public school students, as well as PSE Carioca professionals, was initially planned to take place in person, was reformulated to a hybrid format. The online workshops started in the first week of July, bringing together professionals from the fields of education, health and social assistance. Among the topics to be addressed on the workshops are: mental and emotional health in the context of isolation, challenges and opportunities in the virtual world, impacts of isolation in the territories, especially domestic violence, teenage pregnancy and digital security.

The first meeting, on July 7th, brought together professionals from PSE Carioca and has as speaker the psychologist Thaís da Silveira who brought the concept of self compassion in times of Covid-19.

The workshops will take place during the months of July to October and will also address the various axes linked to life skills, such as self-esteem, critical thinking and strategic communication, essential tools in the individual and institutional response to the context of Covid-19.
