UN WOMEN organized, on June 17th, a virtual consultation with a group of former and current advisors to present and gather suggestions for its Strategic Plan, in view of the many challenges faced by Brazilian women in the current social and political juncture, aggravated by the Covid 19 Pandemic. The diversity of women in terms of race and ethnicity, as well as of geographical territories was represented on the meeting that highlighted the importance of the role of this UN agency in the current context. Jacqueline Pitanguy of CEPIA, who integrated the UN Women Adivisory Group, participated on this meeting.
