On March 13th, Kézia Santos, a member of CEPIA’s young team, held a workshop on Life Skills. The World Health Organization identified core cross-cultural like skills, which aim to help people respond effectively to the demands and challenges of everyday life.

CEPIA will held workshops with teenagers and young people on the various areas of Life Skills: decision-making and problem-solving; creative thinking (see also: lateral thinking) and critical thinking; communication and interpersonal skills; self-awareness and empathy; assertiveness and equanimity; and resilience and coping with emotions and coping with stress. The workshop, with the participation of the CEPIA team and guests, was very dynamic. The Life Skills were presented in a creative and participatory way, valuing the perception of each participant about the relevance of these themes in the adolescents’ lives.
