The Seminar “Pains and Flavors?”was held in the auditorium of the Souza Marques School, in Cascadura, for an audience of 120 people, was attended by agents and health promoters, teachers of municipal schools, representatives of the 5th and 6th CRE (regional education coordination), social workers and psychologists who work at area 3.3 to reflect on self-inflicted violence. The debate on statistics and coping strategies for this violence was organized and worked on three tables.
The Nucleus of Adolescent Multipliers (NAM), which is made up of adolescents who work in schools in the area of 3.3 working on the well-being of adolescents, attended this event.
Kézia Yasmin was present, representing CEPIA, and sharing her experiences with adolescents in this area and the sufferings experienced by some adolescents who are not always understood. Suicide prevention strategies were pointed out and one of them was peer education.
