Yesterday, October 22nd, it was held at CEPIA a Focus Group with mothers of adolescents from 10 to 14 years old with the theme Puberty. The proposal was idealized to know what mothers have to say about their children’s puberty process. The meeting was marked by exciting sharing. A variety of issues were addressed in this conversation, such as: the role of women in society and and how responsibilities and blame are imposed on them, the idea that a mother needs to be perfect and that she can not commit mistakes. The mothers who participated on this GF felt very comfortable and asked questions about how to talk to their children about sexual and reproductive health.
