The exhibition “Women: Time and Voice”, which reports the rights and achievements of women in the 1988 Constitution, received on its last day at the Museum of Justice-Cultural Center of the Judiciary the visit of the Minister of the Supreme Court Luís Roberto Barroso, who in his presentation stressed the importance of women in the struggle for equal rights.

Jacqueline Pitanguy, who was then President of the National Council for Women’s Rights (CNDM) and was one of the honorees of the exhibition, in her presentation, recalled that over 80% of women’s demands were incorporated into the Constitution.

The event began with a guided visit by Comba Marques Porto, one of the honored feminists and by Silvia Monte, curator of the exhibition.
