Jacqueline Pitanguy, in an interview with to the newspaper O Globo, dated March 26th, 2019, rebuts a statement by the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights. Jacqueline says feminism is “an international movement to fight for equal rights for women. It is unfortunate that the Ministry organizes an event to address the “pitfalls” of feminism. The Ministry itself would not exist without feminism.”
