From March 11th to 22nd, various events will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York on the condition of women in various fields. This is the 63rd meeting of the UN Commission on the Situation of Women (CSW) which meets annually bringing together representatives of NGOs, companies, world leaders and representatives of United Nations agencies to debate the rights of women and girls in the world.
Several meetings are organized in parallel with activities promoted by CEPIA’s partner organization Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP). One of the activities organized by the WLP was the panel Gender Equality in the Moroccan Social and Security System, organized in partnership with the Moroccan Democratic Women’s Association (ADFM) and attended by Lina Abou-Habib of Lebanon, Jacqueline Pitanguy from Brazil, Samira Bikarden from Morocco and Asthma Khader from Jordan.
