On May 11, the draft version of the Municipal Plan to Combat Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents was presented by Maria América Ungareti, Andrea Romani and Fatima Chammas.
The meeting, which brought together counselors from the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CMDCA-Rio), state and municipal government representatives, as well as members of the Child and Adolescent Protection Network, aimed to present the Plan with its key lines of action, as well as, gathering suggestions and doubts from the participants in order to elaborate a public policy aligned with the challenges and opportunities identified in Rio de Janeiro.
